I used the Ballistic 5.5 Rib for our Junior sailing event. The rib handled towing the kids out to the start with ease. I particularly liked having a towing point at the bow to bring boats alongside, and the two strong metal cleats aft for towing from the stern. We often ended up with multiple boats. I think the record was 12 boats on tow.
One of the great features was the ability to move around the back of the boat to reach the various cleats. Also the boat is wide enough to come forward either side of the helm station. In addition, as the throttle is in the centre of the helm pod there was little chance of knocking it accidently.
